Inspection below the surface

An alloy wheel can appear complete on the outside while its internal structure still requires verification. Our operator uses the X-ray inspection system to view internal wheel images and examine areas that a normal surface check cannot reveal. This additional inspection step gives us visual evidence to support our quality review before we move the wheel through the production route.

Controlled Image Capture

We position the wheel inside the X-ray equipment and view selected internal areas without cutting the component open.

Internal Structure Review

Our operator examines the X-ray images for visible internal discontinuities that a finished-surface inspection cannot show.

Quality Decision Support

The image review gives us additional evidence to support our quality decision before we move the wheel through production.
